This is a complete tangent, but as an epidemiologist who did AIDS research, how familiar are you with Duesberg's hypothesis that HIV wasn't the cause? I'm pretty familiar with this alternate explanation, but I like to ask the opinions of those with more knowledge than I. If you know what I'm referring to, what's your take?
Thanks! Yes, very familiar, Duesberg’s book has been on my shelf for decades. For some reason it didn’t take the first time I read it. I don’t even remember why it didn’t. I don’t remember disagreeing with anything on it, just that it didn’t change my understanding for some weird reason. But yes I’m pretty open to these theories now because I’m not impressed with the field of virology generally, and the way that we “isolate” viruses is riddled with unscientific claptrap.
Yeah, there seems to be something fishy about the explanations involving viruses. And there’s this strange, popular tendency to attribute all health problems to viruses. It’s like tunnel vision.
Was so great to see Drew turn around during Covid. Cool to watch people "wake up" in real time. Excited to watch!
Yes! So many of us had the scales fall from our eyes during the covid era.
Yes indeed. It had to have been God's plan.
Love Dr. Drew! He and Adam Carolla are my heroes from back during Love Line! :P
Looking forward to watching!
Dude THE BEST!
That was a power couple back in the day!!!
Great interview!

Yes. I’m unimpressed with the isolation process and the studies attempting to demonstrate contagion.
